Thanks to the McKinley Academy students Russian Matryoshka artist Sasha Parkhomenko is coming to Manitowoc! Sasha Parkhomenko lives in Lukoyanov, Russia where he teaches art. Sasha paints traditional Russian crafts. When he comes to Manitowoc, he will be bringing his artwork to put on display and he will be bringing Russian student artwork with him. The student artwork will focus on outer space.

Sasha will be teaching the art of painting the matryoshka doll (the nesting dolls) at the Rahr West Art Museum on Sept 6th and at McKinley Academy.
